We stepped into the Palm Sunday story and watched Jesus enter Jerusalem in a way no one anticipated. The crowds expected a political liberator, a warrior‑king who would overthrow Rome and restore national glory. Instead, Jesus came riding on a donkey — gentle, humble, and determined to save His people in a far deeper way than they imagined.
We explored how Matthew shows Jesus fulfilling God’s promises with precision and purpose. Every detail of His entrance revealed the kind of King He truly is: a King who comes in humility, a King who confronts our misplaced expectations, and a King who offers peace through His own sacrifice. Rather than seizing power, He laid His life down. Rather than conquering by force, He conquered by love.
Palm Sunday reminds us that Jesus is not the King we expect — He is the King we need. His humility invites us to surrender our assumptions, trust His wisdom, and follow Him with open hands and open hearts.
We would love for you to join us in-person each Sunday morning at 11:00!
